Participatory sensing takes advantage of the pervasive nature of mobile phones to collect data about the urban environment using the available sensors. Campaignr makes collecting this data as simple as a few button pushes. It provides access to the sensors in a robust and flexible way that hides the complexities of the mobile embedded phone environment. This paper describes the design choices and provides some numerical evaluation of Campaignr. Campaignr has been and is being actively used as the data collection method for many research pro jects, both internally and externally.
